Release date

Grand Theft Auto VI is dated for November 19, 2026. That date follows earlier windows that slipped — an original 2025 target, then a May 2026 date — so treat it as Rockstar's stated plan rather than a guarantee.

Platforms

  • Confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
  • No PC version has been announced. Rockstar's PC releases have historically arrived after the console launch, but nothing is confirmed for GTA VI yet.
  • The Netflix Extended Look gameplay was captured on PlayStation 5.

Pre-orders opened at local midnight on June 25, 2026. In the US the Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99. All pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders add a free month of GTA+. Editions and price compared.

Pre-load and launch
