The radio is back — and it's the biggest yet

On 8 October 2026 Rockstar detailed the first six of Grand Theft Auto VI's in-game radio stations, promising the biggest and widest-ranging selection of radio in the series — from classic rock to talk radio.

Two firsts come with it:

  • Podcasts. For the first time, Jason and Lucia can listen to a series of on-demand podcasts alongside regular terrestrial radio.
  • Listen on foot. Radio and podcasts are no longer car-only: headphones and earbuds connected to their phones let them listen while walking.

The six stations revealed so far

  • Cocoteo FM — modern Latin music, from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton, hosted by El Martillo and La Gata.
  • Back Country Radio — outlaw country for the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond, with hosts MW and Delta Dawne, plus roving reporter Mud Dog Mike calling in from his airboat.
  • AfroBank FM — African music from 20th-century classics to amapiano and 3-step, curated by Burna and Palmsy.
  • The Chamber 106.6 — decades of metal with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom.
  • Flash FM — the Vice City pop institution returns, now hosted by Robyn and Alex.
  • Dirty South Classics — Southern rap and hip-hop classics with Trick and Trina.

Previews of all six are on the Music section of Rockstar's official GTA VI site. Rockstar says more is coming, including details of the game's dynamic score.

GTA VI: The Album — 19 November

Announced on 17 September 2026, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is an official soundtrack made with Atlantic Records, launching 19 November 2026 alongside the game. It features 34 original tracks. The first six singles are already streaming:

  • Yung Lean — That's It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)
  • Travis Scott — RHYNO (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
  • CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy — Sexy Magic
  • Morgan Wallen — Last Thing You Need
  • Rauw Alejandro — Macacoa 2000
  • Keith Richards — Bright Lights, Big City

The album can be pre-saved on streaming services, with vinyl and CD editions available — including store-exclusive colourways at several retailers and three exclusives (a liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter vinyl and a CD jewel case) from the album's official site.

What we still don't know

Rockstar hasn't yet revealed the full station list, the names of any talk-radio hosts, or how the dynamic score works. We'll update this page as more is announced.
